Description Electric Butterfly valves use an electric motor to rotate the Butterfly. The electric actuator often consists of a protective housing with an internal electric motor and a reducing gear mechanism. This reduces the speed of opening and closing and reduces the risk of water hammer. Furthermore, the operating torque is increased. Typically used for ON/OFF control of water, air, oil and other compatible media. Saad electric Butterfly valves use an electric actuator to open and close the valve. These valves are power-to-open and power-to-close. Valve positioner and fail close options are available.
